Twenty-two NKES students achieve perfect 600 SOL scores
Twenty-two students at New Kent Elementary School achieved perfect 600 scores on one or more of the state Standards of Learning tests administered last spring.
Registering perfect scores on three tests were third graders John Elswick (math, history, science) and Thomas Snead (math, reading, history).
Six third graders were perfect on two tests. Emily Benet, Tyler Davis, Elyzabeth Dean, Billy Musick, and William Wallace scored 600 in math and history while Sasha Bronder was perfect in science and reading.
Third graders with a perfect score on one test were Megan Bland (history), Jacob Butkus-Newman (history), Earl Cochrone (history), Jacob Dilandro (science), Zachary Ford (math), Jackson Gray (math), Harrison Huber (reading), Sabrina Morris (history), Sabrina Odell (reading), and Zacheria Quimby (history).
Fourth graders with perfect scores on one test were Karington Brown (reading), Jackson Gardner (history), Samantha Moon (history), and Ian Schwegal (history).
