NK grand jury indicts eight
Eight individuals have been indicted on one or more felony charges by a New Kent Circuit Court grand jury.
Convening on May 17, the grand jury indicted:
–Lonnie Ray Foster, 48, of 10301 Tunstall Road, New Kent, on one count of driving under the influence, third offense in the past five years. Foster was arrested last Dec. 4.
–Tracy Hicks, 48, of 5405 Forest Brook Drive, Richmond, on two counts of child endangerment stemming from an alleged incident last Nov. 15.
–Myrtle Grasberger, 41, of 1507 Robin Grey Lane, Richmond, on two counts of embezzlement. Grasberger allegedly took lottery tickets last Nov. 7 and 10 from Bottoms Bridge Shell where she was employed.
–Michael E. Chinn, 56, of 6131 Thierry St., Richmond, on one count of grand larceny. On March 14, Chinn allegedly stole two ATVs and lawn garden equipment belonging to Jeff Grau.
–Richard Jeter Payne, 22, of 3653 Poverty Hall Road, Quinton, on one count of Oxycodone possession. Payne was arrested on March 14.
–Yvonne D. Hurley, 62, of 5201 Farmer’s Drive, Barhamsville, on one count of welfare fraud stemming from the time period of April 1-Aug. 31, 2008.
–Christopher J. Burruss, 32, of 26036 Pembroke Creek Road, South Riding, Va., on one count each of eluding police and misdemeanor driving under the influence. Burruss was arrested last Dec. 30.
–Roshawn Jerome Cooke, 22, of 8539 Willis Road, Gloucester, on one count of marijuana distribution in connection with an alleged incident on Feb. 10. Cooke was arrested on May 18.
