Back in the Day Antiques & Uniques, located at 3610-B North Courthouse Road in Providence Forge, has expanded its inventory to include a section devoted to “Man Cave” items for sale, a new line of handmade soaps, book offerings, and items from estate sales.

The new “Man Cave” section offers fishing lures, “primitive” furniture, and other items labeled as “mannish” by owners Steve and Becky Dunaway. The new handmade soap line is produced in Franklin, Va. while the latest addition to the store’s book sales is a compilation by two local residents of newspaper articles from the Civil War era in New Kent.

The Dunaways have just embarked on offering items that have been bought at estate sales, and the store accepts items on consignment. Anyone interested in selling their items can contact the store by e-mail at backinthedayantiques@gmail.com.

Also new for sale are cards produced by local photographer Susan Thomas, Pashima scarves, Brighton jewelry, and “Dog Bandits” by Jessica Kellam Cook.
Store hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday. The store can be reached at 966-9395.
