C&F nets record income for 2012

C&F Financial Corporation is reporting record income of $16.38 million ($4.86 per share) for 2012, more than 26 percent higher than the $12.98 million and $3.72 per share for the previous year.

Fourth quarter income totaled $3.89 million or $1.17 per share compared to $3.41 million and $1.02 per share a year ago.

The corporation is the one-bank holding company for C&F Bank.
