New Kent County Fair scheduled for Sept. 20-22

The New Kent County Fair Association has announced that the 2013 fair will take place Sept. 20-22 at Colonial Downs.

Information about exhibits and vendor booths can be found after March 15 on the fair’s website, www.newkentcountyfair.com or at Heritage Public Library.

New this year is the opportunity for non-residents to enter their home and garden exhibits in the fair.

At the Virginia Association of Fairs Convention in January, the New Kent Fair Association won several communication awards, two blue ribbons, four second place ribbons, and one third place ribbon. These will be on display at the 2013 fair.
