Girl Scout ‘Thinking Day’

Over 100 Girl Scouts, leaders, and parents attended the 2013 Thinking Day event held at Providence United Methodist Church in Quinton. The theme this year is “Together we can save children’s lives.” Several countries were represented by troops giving out information on how scouts can make a difference with issues at home and abroad. Money raised ($272) is to be donated to the Midwives of Haiti. The event also collected 228 non-perishable food items for the Food Pantry Outreach at PUMC.
