Financial services awards

New Kent County finance director Mary Altemus and assistant finance director Larry Clark display the Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Presentation Award and a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. Both awards were presented Monday during the county Board of Supervisors meeting. The occasion is the eighth consecutive year the financial services department has won the certificate for financial reporting and the first year for winning the budget presentation award.
