Last chance to order before book goes to press

This is the last chance to pre-order a copy of “Heritage of African Americans in New Kent County, Va., Early Education, Volume I, Colored Schools” before it goes to press.

The book traces colored education in the New Kent from 1866-1970 when the schools integrated. The book has 250+ pages and costs $30. Email Camilla at milliemac20@yahoo.com or LaVonne at LAllen3081@aol.com to purchase a copy.

If all goes well, African American Heritage in New Kent, Volume II may be published in 2015.
