Letter to the editor: Thanks participants in NK Drug Take Back

The New Kent Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all of the citizens who came out and participated in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Initiative held Saturday, April 27.

We had another great event. We were able to dispose of over 100 pounds of unused/unwanted medications. Thank you for the many great comments. We are proud to participate in this important initiative and look forward to many more.
