‘Name the park’ contest in NK

New Kent Parks and Recreation invites you to participate in “A New Place to Play: Name the Park Contest.” New Kent Parks and Recreation seeks entries from New Kent residents, of all ages, with suggested names for our new park!

The department is excited to announce the acquisition of property on Pine Fork Road in New Kent for the new park. Parks and Recreation plans to design a conceptual plan driven by input from the community. The department will host a variety of informational meetings and welcome public comment at the NKP&R advisory commission starting in July 2013.
