New Kent resident Alexander Baine gleams with a smile as a rare bunch of bananas emerge from a tree in his yard. Baine says more than 50 of the fruit exists on the tree and they are rare to this part of the world. He has been grooming the plant for three years as a hobby with results producing the eight-inch treats.
