‘Thank You’ after a fire

During an August 10, storm, the home of Mary McMurtry of Providence Forge was struck by lightening and subsequently caught fire. McMurty’s two dauthers occupied the residence at the time, along with her pets. Her daughters received a verbal warning from a James River Landscaping employee that led to them escaping without harm. McMurtry and her family would like to thank each and every person of Oakmont Villas, Brickshire, and surrounding community, Cornerstone Thrift Store, and New Hope Church for donations and offers of assistance in her family’s time of need.
