Charles City County Fair

Judy Ledbetter earned 22 blue ribbons and was recognized as the top adult winner with a total of 35 ribbons at the Charles City County Fair on Sept. 14. Tina Whitehead accumulated 18 blue ribbons to garner second place, while Louise Hudgins earned 14 blue ribbons to earn a third place recognition. Hudgins also was named “Best in Charles City” with her rendition of carrot cake.
In the youth division, Sarah Black and Gina Slattum both earned honors for the top spot with three blue ribbons apiece.
