A ‘baby grand’ dedication

School board members watch and listen as choir instructor Michelle Edwards plays a tune on the brand new baby grand piano while middle and high school student combine to sing as part of the dedication ceremony Monday night. The instrument was purchased through fundraising and donation efforts of New Kent’s Rotary Club, New Kent’s Educational Foundation, New Kent’s School Board, and New Kent High School. On hand representing their respective organizations was Stran Trout of New Kent Rotary and Christopher Lindsay of New Kent’s Educational Foundation.
