Rite Aid opens new Quinton location

Rite Aid Wellness Store held a grand opening event and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 8 at its new location at 2207 Pocahontas Trail in Quinton.

The store features increased staffing for customer service, an enhanced selection of wellness products and resources, and advanced clinical services including a private pharmacist consultation room.

Rite Aid offered free health screenings and product samples to attendees. Nurses and licensed pharmacists were on hand to provide free services designed to help local residents get and stay, including blood pressure reading and cholesterol testing.

Visitors also sampled organic, gluten-free and natural food products and received other product samples and coupons. Also, Rite Aid Wellness Ambassador BJ Cunningham provided interactive demos on a customized iPad. Wellness ambassadors also help customers electronically enroll in wellness plus, Rite Aid’s free customer loyalty program offering health and wellness benefits and immediate shopping discounts.
