Letter to the editor: Thanks Quinton Fire and Rescue Squad

I wanted to take just a few minutes to express my deepest gratitude to all members of Quinton Fire and Rescue Squad. I was in a serious car accident on Tuesday, Oct. 22, and they responded to my call for help.

The service and care they provided was top notch, extremely thorough and efficient. Every volunteer who worked with me (and there were many) was extremely caring. It was obvious to me throughout the entire procedure that my safety was their greatest concern. Although I still have a long road to recovery ahead of me, I know my outcome would have been a lot worse if not for the wonderful care I received at the scene of the accident.

We may not have a full-time fire and rescue squad here in Quinton, but with dedicated volunteers as knowledgeable as all of them, I feel like we are in extremely capable hands.
