Colton Walizer, 3, the son of Deputy Michael C. Walizer who died in an accident on March 31, 2012, received a customized 2010 Dodge Charger power wheel vehicle from Charles City Sheriff’s Office on Christmas Day. The gift was decaled to replicate the county’s patrol vehicle. Ten Code Elite Services in Amelia created the decals. The vehicle is one of a kind as it displays “35 Jr.” on the rear in memory of the fallen officer. Walizer was the first officer killed in the line of duty in Charles City. He left behind a wife and four children.
