NK Environthon scheduled for Apr. 12

New Kent Extension Office is organizing the fifth annual Environthon/Earth Day for Saturday, Apr. 12.

The event will be held on the grounds outside New Kent’s Cooperative Extension Office.

Patrons and knowledgeable people who are able to provide knowledge on an environmentally friendly, green, or recycled products are asked to participate. If interested, contact Patty Towsend at 966-9645, or by email at patric4@vt.edu.

The Environthon is scheduled in conjuction with Earth Day to provide friendly activities for all ages and bring awareness and appreciation for the earth’s environment.

This is a day of Earth friendly activities for all ages designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment.
