Adkins Road bridge reopens

Route 618 (Adkins Road) bridge reopened the afternoon of Feb. 7, connecting Charles City and New Kent County again. The bridge closed last May 23 due to deterioration, with construction for the new structure commencing in November. The bridge opens more than two months ahead of schedule.
