C&F completes merger with CVB
C&F Financial Coproation announced the completion of the merger of its subsidiary banks, C&F Bank and Central Virginia Bank (CVB) on Mar. 22.
CVB merged into C&F Bank, with C&F continuning as the sole bank subsidiary.
In addition to the bank merger, CVB was merged into C&F, and a written agreement with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and the Virginia Bureau of Financial institutions was terminated. With the completion of the merger, C&F bank has over $1.3 billion in total assets.
The corporation is the one-bank holding company for C&F Bank.
