Daniel tabbed as NK Republican chair

Mark Daniel defeated Terry Cornelius and became chairman-elect of the New Kent Republican Party for the coming year.

New Kent Republican party members gathered at a mass meeting on Mar. 20 to elect the new official. Along with receiving messages from the candidates, speeches were delivered by Virginia State Senator Tommy Norment and House of Delegates member Chris Peace.

During closing remarks, Daniel spoke on his goals to unite the membership for the coming election for U.S. senator in the fall, and the importance of principles of limited government, family values, and fiscal responsibility.
