New Kent Coatings President Jackie Smith (center), was honored by the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization (WPEO) on March 7. Smith received regional honors as a one certified woman owned business that contributes to WPEO, while supporting other women in businesses and developing innovative solutions. Her business, that started in 2010, specializes in industrial coatings and painting and conducts work from Hampton Roads to Richmond. Joining Smith as she receives her honor is (left) Marsha Firestone, founder and president of WPEO and (right) Sandra Eberhard, the executive director of WPEO’s District of Columbia region.
