NK Stagehands to showcase May 2-3

New Kent Stagehands will hold plays on two consecutive nights on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3.

Focusing on past times of listening to plays on the radio before the days of television, Readers Radio Theater will give audience members the opportunity to use their imagination to picture characters in hilarious situations.

Four acts will be presented by the New Kent Stagehands. Act one is “The Elevator Misadventure,” act two is “The Blatherson Give Back,” act three is “A Slight Misunderstanding,” and act four is “What’s on TV?”

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. at the New Kent Middle School auditorium. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. To order, call 932-3155.
