Letter to the editor: “It makes no difference” says concerned citizen

I write letters to my politicians. “What’s the use? It makes no difference.”

I may get some patronizing, political response, but their position is never revealed. I respond to petitions and surveys. I receive all kinds of mail looking for my support and money. I write letters to the editor of newspapers. “What’s the use? It makes no difference.”

I spent $7,000 to publish a book regarding the issues and the direction of the country is going. Everything that I was taught in school told to me by my parents, and what was expected of me in life has changed under the progressive, socialist movement and it’s objectives. The country I once knew, loved, and respected is no longer the same.

The old ways, values, and principles are now wrong and seen as “un-American.”

Some worry about our becoming transformed into a European, socialist style state. I am more concerned about becoming a radical, Islamic county under Sharia Law.

I don’t believe we can any longer trust and respect our government. Those we elect to serve, protect, and defend our constitutional republic blatantly deceive and lie to us.

They violate the Constitution, Rule of Law, diminish our Judeo-Christian moral and ethical values with immunity. If we do not conform to their dictates, we are marginalized, intimidated, persecuted, and even prosecuted and jailed.

We no longer have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. One scandal after another shows the extent of the corruption and the imposed destruction that “Change” and “Transformation” promised by Obama is going to cost us.

Understand, in order to transform America, progressives must first destroy what America is or should I say was? It is time to be afraid of our government.
