Members of New Kent Fire-Rescue, Quinton Volunteer Fire-EMS, and Providence Forge Volunteer Fire-Rescue recently participated in a controlled burning as part of firefighter training activities. The structure, donated by Bill Drumheller, provided realistic training for extinguishing the flames in lifelike situations and weather conditions.
