CHD offering free cancer screenings

The Chickahominy Health District’s (CHD) “Every Woman’s Life” program is offering free life-saving breast and cervical cancer screenings.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness month and as part of the recognition, CHD is offering free screenings and diagnostic services to qualified candidates.

To qualify, candidates must be female ranging from age 40-64, a resident of Virginia, have no insurance or unable to pay the deductible, or have insurance that does not cover the screening exams. Other qualifications include total gross income below the household’s size (1- $23,340; 2- $31,460; 3- $39,580; 4- $47,700; 5- $55,820).
