George Watkins Elementary School fifth grader Justin Henley (above) successfully spells the word “Oologist” to win New Kent’s Public Schools spelling bee on Jan. 31. The competition went 13 rounds with students from George Watkins Elementary, New Kent Elementary, and New Kent Middle School competing before Henley notched the victory.
