New Kent Sheriff’s Office teamed up with the Sandston Moose Lodge, Henrico County Sheriff’s Office, and young volunteers to provide holiday joy as part of the Cops who Care program that took place Saturday morning at Walmart on Nine Mile Road in Sandston. Children were able to spend $200 on clothing, games, and toys, with the efforts of Henrico Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #4 Charitable Foundation assisting with the program. In total, more than $25,000 in donations were spent to brighten the holidays of children and their families.
