Letter to the Editor: Supports Evelyn, current boards for re-election

It has been an honor and privilege to serve in partnership with Thomas Evelyn.

After attending a kickoff event to support Thomas’ reelection to District 1 supervisor, I fully understand what it means to be “New Kent Strong.” Thomas’ record shows why he is the only candidate for District 1.

Thomas is a man of integrity with conservative, traditional values. His family and his community that he serves is his priority. Thomas is always present and visible in the community. He supports our local schools, our local economy, our parks and recreation, and first responders.

Thomas has faithfully given himself to New Kent County. I will go as far as to say that all our current sitting supervisors and school board members are the only logical choices for the upcoming November election. These boards work together well to support the needs of all New Kent residents.

Teamwork with these two boards has made the dream and vision of New Kent County work for the past four years. Vote for those who will continue to move forward.
