Two locals earn academic recognition during Summer semester at James Madison University
Two local residents earned academic recognition from James Madison University for the Summer 2023 semester.
Rylie Cross, a resident of Providence Forge, was named to the President’s List at the university. To be recognized for the achievement, a student must pass at least 12 credit hours and accumulate a grade-point average of 3.9 or better.
Emily Minor, a resident of New Kent, was named to the Dean’s List for the semester. In order to earn the accolade, a student must be taking at least 12 credit hours and earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
