New Kent Sheriff’s Office receives $8,000 donation

New Kent Sheriff’s Office received a check of $8,047 as the result of the third annual Devin Samuels Memorial Truck and Car Show held on Apr. 27 at Colonial Downs.

The event was held in memory of Devin Samuels who passed away in a car crash in 2021. The funds will be used towards the child safety seat and occupant protection program, providing educational information.
