Experience- Twenty-three years working in state and local government, Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Why are you running for the position?- “Twenty-three years ago, I first met New Kent County and fell in love with it. I became the first ever New Kent Assistant Financial Services Director in 2001. My husband and I are deeply ingrained in this community and every decision made for New Kent County is prefaced with “what is best for this county?”

Why should people vote for you?- “I am dedicated to serving the citizens of New Kent County. I am accessible, hardworking, and experienced. I have held town halls and I have responded promptly to and visited constituents to their homes to see first-hand some of the issues they are facing. Even though I have done a great deal in the time as interim supervisor, my accomplishments in moving New Kent Forward didn’t start 10 months ago. I want to illustrate that leadership doesn’t just start when you decide to run for public office, they are just who you are in real life.”
