Chickahominy Triad implementing two new programs

The Chickahominy Area Triad will implement two programs to assist the elderly beginning Jan. 1, 2025.

The first program is the “Not Forgotten Neighborly Chat’ program. The program is designed to have a volunteer from the Chickahominy Area Triad provide caring weekly or bi-weekly calls, conduct neighborly chats and dialogue. The calls can vary by time, day, and length of the call.

The second program is the Estate Planning Documents preparation. The program is designed to have triad volunteers assist with basics regarding last wills and testaments, living wills, advanced medical directive, and durable power of attorney for New Kent and Charles City Seniors. The program is free of charge to seniors, with all documents conforming to the state of Virginia legal requirements.
