Several students recognized for academic achievements at Brightpoint Community College

Several local students were recognized for their academic performances at Brightpoint Community College for the Spring 2025 semester.

Dave Collins, Robert Fields, Andra Smith, and Carter White, all of Quinton, Anthony Weyland of Lanexa, and Kaitlin Madali of New Kent, were named to the Honors List. To be recognized for the achievement, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a grade-point average 3.5 or better.

BrookeLynn Humphreys, Cademon Pfeifer, and Emma West, all of Quinton, Savanna McGann of Lanexa, and Skylar Torrence of Charles City, received recognition on the college’s dean’s list. To earn the honor, a student must be enrolled full-time and accumulate a grade-point average of 3.2 or higher.
