Teachers of Year

High school social studies’ teacher Patti Gulick (far right) is the 2013 New Kent District Teacher of the Year. Gulick’s 35 years of service, all to New Kent, as well as appreciation and dedication to coworkers and students, earned her the honor. She is joined by (l to r) George Watkins Elementary School’s Mike Geiger, New Kent Elementary School’s Melissa George, and New Kent Middle School’s Tina McAlpin, all of whom were recognized at their respective schools as teachers of the year.
