Suspects’ identities in New Kent McDonald’s robbery released

(l to r) Cornelius Clayton Jr., London Shi-Anne Cotman, and Shatik Jackson have all been federally indicted on multiple counts in relation to the Aug. 26 burglary of the Bottoms Bridge McDonald’s, as well as other robberies at neighboring jurisdictions.
New Kent Sheriff’s Office has officially released the names of three adult suspects in relation to the Aug. 26 robbery of the Bottoms Bridge McDonald’s.
–Shatik U. Jackson, 19, of the 300 block of Shetland Court, Henrico, is charged with four counts of armed robbery, four counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and three counts of abduction.
–Cornelius Clayton Jr., 19, of the 600 block of Fritz Street, Henrico, is charged with four counts of armed robbery, three counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, three counts of abduction, and four counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
–London Shi-Anne Cotman, 19, of the 300 block of N. Airport Drive, Highland Springs, is charged with four counts of armed robbery, four counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and three counts of abduction.
The three suspects are being held in Chesterfield County jail without bond. A fourth suspect, a 16-year old juvenile from Henrico, also has pending charges in relation to the robbery.
Through the joint investigation with agencies from Richmond, Chesterfield, Petersburg, and Dinwiddie, the suspects were arrested during a traffic stop during a Sept. 27 traffic stop in Chesterfield.
Similar occurrences of McDonalds’ restaurants in the aforementioned jurisdiction led to the cooperation of authorities.
