Quinton woman, Toano man arrested on multiple charges

A Toano man and Quinton woman have been arrested and charged with several offenses that occurred on two separate dates in January.

Christopher Ricardo Delaney, 28, of the 2000 block of Old Route 60, Toano, and Shauna Evelyn Chapman, 26, of the 10300 block of Racheal Diann Drive, Quinton, turned themselves in on Feb. 15 to Henrico Jail East. According to the report, Delaney and Chapman forged two stolen checks at Stewart’s Grocery in Lanexa on Jan. 15 and Jan. 22 of this year.

Chapman is charged with two counts each of forgery, obtaining money by false pretenses, and possession of stolen property. Delaney received two charges each of uttering, obtaining money by false pretenses, and possession of stolen property.

Delaney was being held on $5,000 secured bond and Chapman was being held on $3,000 secured bond.
