Seven indicted during New Kent Circuit Court proceedings
A New Kent Circuit Court grand jury handed down indictments to seven individuals during Monday morning court proceedings:
–Randolph Benjamin Berry Jr., 53, of the 2100 block of Hilliard Road, Richmond, on two counts of obtaining money under false pretenses. Last Sept. 6, Berry allegedly cashed checks belonging to Kosal Sam and Cameron Watson, receiving more than $200 from each of them.
–David Luther Holley Jr., 42, of the 8300 block of New Kent Highway, New Kent, on two counts each of grand larceny and possession of stolen goods with the intent to sell. According to the indictment, Holly stole an air conditioner belonging to Ronald Hedrick last Oct. 9 and stole a pole saw and weedeater belonging to John Crump last Oct. 15 and intended to sell the items for profit.
–Neshika M. Mitchell, 33, of the 100 block of Bassett Avenue, Virginia Beach, on one count each of forgery and uttering. Mitchell allegedly forged a summons on Oct. 17, 2010, providing information belonging to another person.
–Richard Lee Price Jr., 45, of the 1400 block of Overlook Street, Richmond, on one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to the indictment, Price allegedly possessed the weapon last Nov. 23.
–Winston Najee Reed, 21, of Henrico Jail East, on one charge of assaulting a correctional officer. Last Christmas Eve, Reed allegedly assaulted an officer on duty at the facility.
–Jose Angel Santiago, 32, of the 900 block of Ashbridge Drive, Apt. B, Essex, Md., on one count of felony eluding police. Santiago allegedly fled police last Nov. 27 after police spotted his vehicle driving erratically.
–Arica Robbins Thomas, 28, of the 200 block of Robbinwood Lane, Sandston, on one count of possession of cocaine. Thomas allegedly possessed the substance on Oct. 4 of last year.
