New Kent High School Class of 2014- Salutatorian Michael Venter

Michael Yang Venter is salutatorian of New Kent High School’s Class of 2014 with a grade-point average of 4.30.

He is a member of scholastic bowl, forensic club, Blue Crab bowl club, and a member of the track and cross-country team.

Michael plans to attend the University of Virginia to pursue a degree in computer science.

He is the son of Wei and Leon Venter.
