Ten indicted following New Kent grand jury deliberations

Several individuals were indicted by a grand jury as part of proceedings in New Kent Circuit Court Monday morning:

–Jamal Kareem Brock, 50, of the 800 block of Oliver Hill Way, Richmond, on a solo count of forgery. Brock allegedly forged a check belonging to Martin Control and Equipment Company on Aug. 29, 2022.

–Curtis Leroy Etheridge, 55, of the 500 block of Plainfield Avenue, Chesapeake, on one count each of possession of a Schedule I/II drug and misdemeanor DUI on drugs. Etheridge apparently possessed Fentanyl and drove under the influence of it on Sept. 3, 2022.

–Christopher Lloyd Fritter, 28, of 8 Betsy Ross Grove, Ruther Glen, on one count each of felony eluding of police and misdemeanor reckless driving. Fritter allegedly fled from police on Sept. 28, 2022 at a high rate of speed on Interstate 64.

–George Jason Harris, 40, of the 100 block of North Elm Avenue, Highland Springs, on one count each of attempted burglary and assault on a law enforcement officer. Harris allegedly tried to break into the home of Daniel Carlson on Sept. 19, 2022 and attacked an officer responding to the scene.

–Joshua Bryan Lane, 46, of the 15000 block of New Kent Highway, Lanexa, on a solo charge of misdemeanor assault and battery on a family member. The offense allegedly took place on Nov. 25, 2022.

–Scott Lingo, 40, of the 600 block of Lewis Street, Fredericksburg, on one count each of felony child abuse and misdemeanor DUI. The offenses allegedly took place on July 23, 2022.

–Andrew Gordon Luck, 34, of the 5500 block of Ridgewood Drive, New Kent, on one count of strangulation and two counts of misdemeanor violating a protective order. The crimes allegedly took place on Nov. 9, 2022.

–Christian Raul Martinez, 20, of the 6900 block of Lakeshore Court, Quinton, on a single count of possession of a Schedule I/II drug. Martinez allegedly possessed cocaine on Mar. 8, 2022.

–Shera Lynette Sizer, 45, of the 1300 block of Granada Court, Newport News, on two counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle and one count of felony failure to appear. Sizer allegedly used the vehicle of Ronnie Berkley without their permission on two separate dates between May 19, 2022 and Sept. 6, 2022.

–Jasmine Sade Stephens, 28, of the 1700 block of Columbia Road Northwest, Washington D.C., on three counts of destruction of property, and one count each of felony eluding and felony hit and run. Stephens allegedly ran away from law enforcement and struck the vehicles of deputies on Nov. 14, 2022.
