Charles City grand jury indicts six for alleged offenses committed within the county
Six individuals were indicted by a grand jury following Friday morning proceedings in Charles City Circuit Court:
–Javon R. Caton, 21, of the 1900 block of Redd Street, Richmond, on one count each of grand larceny and felony eluding. The defendant allegedly stole a car and attempted to elude authorities on June 25, 2024.
–Robert Earl Davis, 35, of the 5300 block of North Warriner Road, Richmond, on a single count of unlawful wounding. The offense allegedly took place on Oct. 16, 2024.
–Alonzo Dean Dobson, 61, of the 9600 block of Lott Cary Road, Providence Forge, on a solo count of transporting of a weapon by a violent felon. The offense allegedly took place on Nov. 13, 2024.
–Kaitlyn Nicole Grubbs, 25, of the 80 block of Royal Lane, King William, on a solo charge of possession of a Schedule I/II substance. Grubbs allegedly possessed illegal drugs on Apr. 26, 2023.
–Charles Lloyd White, 53, of the 7600 block of Courthouse Road, Providence Forge, on one count each of credit card larceny and misdemeanor credit card fraud. The offenses allegedly occurred on Oct. 19, 2024.
–Kaleb Dakota Wine, 22, of the 3800 block of Wayside Road, Charles City, on a lone charge of rape. The offense allegedly occurred on Nov. 20, 2023.
