CC, NK players named all-district in basketball

Three Charles City athletes have been named to the All-Tri-Rivers District first team in basketball.

Cheyenne Davis garnered first team honors for the Charles City Lady Panthers. Teammate Adrienne Miles was a second team selection while teammates Jessica Hill, Sara Whitehead, and Hailey Holmes received honorable mention.

On the boys’ side, Avery Jones and Antonio Harris were named as first team selections. Honorable mention nods went to teammates Daron Jones, Jovan Howard, and Gavin Cotman.

In New Kent, Travis Claytor was voted onto the first team All-Bay Rivers District. Parrish Braxton and Jamar Murray received honorable mention.

For the girls, Lady Trojan Adrienne Goodlet was voted to the second team. Teammates Paige Simpson and Karley Allen garnered honorable mention recognition.
