Fifth in conference

New Kent High School's competition cheerleaders earned fifth place finishes in the Colonial Rivers Conference and the Bay Rivers District during recent events. Team members are Allie Adams, Hayley Ashford, Amber Beach, Jenna Brinkley, Lexi Buie, Alexis Copper, Haley Curle, Kenzie Douglas, Makayla Fitzgerald, Susan Fowlkes, Krista Gossett, Kara Harris, Sierra Heath, Madison Hinman, Jessica Jack, Emma LaBarr, Emily McCartney, Kamryn Palmer, Katie Schrader, Vickey Vazquez, and Kaila Woods. The team is coached by Kristen Gibson and Lindsey Rigsby, and Allie Madison occupied the role of team manager.
