New Kent’s Carlin finishes 7th in 3A East Regional cross-country

New Kent’s Andrew Carlin posted a career best time of 15:49 to earn a seventh place finish at the 3A East Regional cross-country championships held Tuesday afternoon at Wilson Memorial High School.

The junior finished second at the Conference 25 championships and was the lone runner for the Trojans at the regional meet. His seventh place finish earned him a spot to participate in the 3A cross-country state championships on Nov. 14 at the Great Meadow course in The Plains.
