Carlin finishes 4th at Group 3A state cross-country meet

New Kent’s Andrew Carlin ran a time of 16:08 to garner a fourth-place finish in the group 3A state championships at the Great Meadows course in The Plains.

Carlin’s time was the second fastest for individuals competing without a team at the Nov. 14 meet. His performance is an improvement of a seventh-place finish in the 3A East Regional championships and his time was faster than his 17:02 he accumulated at the Conference 25 championships.
