New Kent native and Mount St. Mary's head coach Jamion Christian (standing) monitors his team's progress during a Dec. 22 trip to James Madison University to take on the Dukes. Despite falling to the home team 71-51, Christian's team has played the eighth-toughest schedule in the nation out of 329 teams, including contests against ninth-ranked Gonzaga and third-ranked Maryland. At bottom, New Kent was also well represented as high school principal Christopher Valdrighi (right) made the two-hour venture to watch the contest.
