Ribbon cutting held for new New Kent High School tennis courts

New Kent School Board member Gail Hardinge performs the honor of officially opening New Kent High School's new tennis courts by cutting a ceremonial ribbon Thursday afternoon as a prelude to the first match on the six courts pitting New Kent's girls tennis team against Essex. Joining in the event are school superintendent Dave Myers (left), school mascot Troy the Trojan, girls tennis coach Matt Duckworth, and athletics director John Spiak.
