Warhill tops New Kent in rain-shortened boys tennis

Warhill topped New Kent 5-0 in a Wednesday boys tennis match that was shortened by an approaching storm.

Singles: Cummins (W) d. Ashford (NK) 6-0, 6-2; Pauls (W) d. Edmonds (NK) 6-1, 6-4; Gravel (W) d. Frizzell (NK) 6-2,-6-1; Hrncir (W) d. Squares (NK) 6-0, 6-0; Charter (W) d. Sorenson (NK) 6-2, 7-5.

The number six singles match was halted due to the storm. Bad weather also forced cancellation of doubles matches.
