Williams wins four events; Charles City girls, boys finish third at West Point track meet

Charles City’s Alexis Williams won all four of her events as she scored 32 points to propel the Lady Panthers to a third-place finish at Tuesday’s track meet at West Point.
Williams garnered wins in the girls’ 100-meter dash (13.34), high jump (4’7”), long jump (15’2¾”), and triple jump (33’7”).
The Lady Panther athlete finished behind meet winner Rappahannock (61) and West Point (36). She finished ahead of Essex (21) and Richmond Christian (20).
On the boys’ side, D’Angelo Smith won the triple jump competition with a leap of 40’11½” as the Panthers finished third in the meet.
Charles City accumulated 38 points to earn the bronze, finishing behind meet winner West Point (104) and Rappahannock (87). The Panthers finished ahead of Richmond Christian (8) and Essex (1).
