Lamprecht wins home cross-country meet; New Kent girls, boys place third overall

New Kent's Isaac Lamprecht makes his final push as he crosses the finish line in first place at the Sept. 21 home cross-country meet.

New Kent’s Isaac Lamprecht crossed the finish line in first place as he won New Kent High School’s home cross-country meet on Sept. 21.

Lamprecht crossed the line in 16:40, edging Grafton’s Connor Linehan who finished two seconds behind. Overall, the Trojans finished in third place in the meet, finishing one point behind Warhill and 23 points behind Grafton.

On the girls’ side, Madison Johnson earned a top-five finish, squeezing into the fifth spot with a time of 23:01.
New Kent’s Lady Trojans also earned a third-place finish in the meet, finishing 29 points behind Grafton and 20 points behind Warhill.
